  • About the artist

...

Elizabeth Arzani is a collector of sorts. Ever since she was young she has been placing found objects in her pockets and hiding trinkets in her closets; there she would store odd things like stickers and stamps or caterpillars and rocks. When she was a little girl, she was always writing; collecting her thoughts in diaries with keys and locks. This curious habit of recording, observing and accumulating materials are what lead her to pursue a career as an artist. Elizabeth is a visual artist and educator from Charlotte, North Carolina currently living and working in Seattle, Washington.
