The work from this series references moments from social media news feeds and family photos while combining and reinventing narrative through the process of painting. The varying levels of separation between truth and what is actually presented in social media (abstraction of truth) opens the door to interpretation which parallels the function and physical practice of art making and as well as the concept of storytelling. I playfully encourage self-reflection in life around us in effort to define or question truth.
